Ben Franklin Technology Partners Invests More Than $500,000 in Five PA Companies!

STATE COLLEGE, PA – The Board of Directors for Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Central and Northern PA recently approved investments totaling $515,000 in five companies located in the Center’s 32-county footprint . While each of the companies serves decidedly different markets and are in various stages of their business development, they took the first important step in turning a good idea in to a business reality by applying to Ben Franklin for funding. The companies listed below were awarded an investment:

 Located in Erie, PA, RendrFX, is a cloud-based software startup with an innovative platform that delivers high-quality motion graphic videos. With the video market expanding at a rapid pace, customers can leverage RFX HD animated graphics for their websites, email promotions, presentations, and social media branding campaigns without paying thousands of dollars per video. These videos can also be customized with logos, color branding, and digital media. eLoop, also located in State College, PA, is commercializing a new, environmentally responsible chemical method to separate lead from glass used for CRT’s on older-style TV’s and computer display tubes. After separation, the glass will be re-cycled into a clean glass product as well as a clean lead. The lead will be sold in the commodity market and the glass can be used in the same markets as the panel glass.
