Pennsylvania Governors Ed Rendell, Tom Ridge, and Dick Thornburgh lauded the Ben Franklin Technology Partners (BFTP) as a model statewide economic development program that helps achieve economic prosperity by supporting technology-based entrepreneurship and technological innovation. On September 15, 2010 the governors participated in a panel discussion and answered questions from 300 tech-based economic development professionals gathered from around the country at the State Science and Technology Institute’s (SSTI) 14th Annual Conference  in Pittsburgh.  The video link of this event is now posted to the PCN website.  Check out http://pcntv.com/pcnplus/ — the videos are on the right and the title is “Technology Based Economic Development.”
