After testing with more than 700 members in the Central Pennsylvania area, the creative co-op marketplace, “The Usic” is ready to expand to the Baltimore and Washington D.C. area. For the last several months The Usic has been helping Creatives and Artists get paid for doing what they love in Central PA area and are planning to do the same for these major metros.

The Usic has been described as an Angie’s list-meets-eBay-meets-Living Social for a new generation of traditionally and self-taught artists and creatives. The site spends its marketing dollars to help these creatives find more customers – and then processes the transactions directly on the site. After the service sells, the Usic helps the purchaser and the seller cross-promote each other to their social networks so both parties receive the benefits of a built-in referral based advertising channel.
