Innovation Adoption Grant Program

The purpose of this program is to create the opportunity for existing manufacturers to team with a university research partner of their choosing in order to develop innovative, proprietary products.  This new initiative enables an eligible company to receive a $25,000 grant, which they must match 1:1 in cash.  The money will be used to pay for faculty time, lab time, and design input from the university or research facility chosen by the company.  The company and the university partner must have an IP ownership agreement prior to any work being started. At the completion of the research portion of the project, if the company desires to move forward with sales and marketing efforts and requires further funding, they would be able to take advantage of the traditional BF/CNP Existing-Manufacturer Phase 4 Investment Program.  To view form, click on the following link:   Innovation Adoption Grant RFP
