BEN FRANKLIN FUNDING AWARDED TO FIVE PA STARTUPS

STATE COLLEGE, PA – Are you developing a new, innovative product, process, or software application? Every year, dozens of PA startups get their start with Ben Franklin Technology Partners. At the March 2018 Board of Director’s meeting, five more company projects were approved to receive investment capital and business support services from Ben Franklin – both of which will help them get from StartUP to UP and running:

TEAMology, located in Chambersburg, PA, has developed a proprietary, easy-to-use cloud-based software that offers research based curriculum to K-12 students that increases attendance, attitude, and achievement levels while also reducing behavioral issues related to bullying.  Visit www.teamology.team

ConidioTec, located in State College, PA, offers a revolutionary new product for the control and prevention of bed bugs; a growing problem for managers of hotels and dorms, homeowners, and rental properties.  The company has formulated its own fungal bio-pesticide product, Aprehend, which it sells to professional pest control operators.  Visit www.aprehend.com

Located in Johnstown, PA, Event Guru Software, a software as a services company, specializes in affordable, simple-to-use, cloud-based solutions designed to simplify managing the logistics at conferencing and event venues including college and university campuses and retreats. Phospholutions, located in State College, PA, commercialized two patents licensed from Penn State University for a granular soil amendment product that is used to control the release of fertilizers over time. This requires fewer applications and develops significantly stronger root system using less water.
