Eleven companies located in central and northern PA recently received an investment from Ben Franklin Technology Partners that will allow them to further develop and commercialize new products and/or software applications or stabilize operations in a long-standing manufacturing business.

The Ben Franklin program has been investing in tech startups and small manufacturers for nearly 40 years.  Listed below are those that received funding approval at the June 2022 Board Meeting:

AccountAbility Tech, located in Franklin County, offers a platform for people who are responsible for the management of finances and medical care for the elderly or the impaired.

Alex & Thea, located in Erie County, developed a function-forward all-in-one baby backpack that contains a diaper bag, booster seat, changing table, waterproof storage bag, and a charging port for digital devices.  http://AlexandThea.com

Blind Tiger, located in Erie County, produces a low-calorie, shelf stable, all-natural and organic line of non-alcoholic beverages inspired by Prohibition-era cocktails. www.blindtigerspiritfree.com

Boostpoint, located in Lancaster County, developed a B2B platform that connects growing companies with qualified candidates for all their open positions.  www.boostpoint.com

 CPNet, located in Dauphin County, is an industrial IoT and AI company founded to bring Industry 4.0 technology to mid-market producers by providing prescriptive analytics solutions based on proprietary technology.  www.cpnet.io

ERApeutics, located in Lancaster County, developed EVERMIND™, a doctor formulated, ready to drink functional beverage for better energy and cognitive function. Thinkevermind.com

Impulse Technology, located in Centre County, developed a passive, prosthetic ankle device, Goralign, that uses a highly non-linear compliant mechanism for real time self-alignment. http://impulse-technology.com
