The BF TechCelerator @ Carlisle Will Award Prizes Totaling More than $10,000!
CARLISLE, PA – On Thursday, April 10, 2014, at 3:00 PM, three entrepreneurs will present their business plan concepts to a panel of judges (for educational purposes) as the Capstone to the Ben Franklin TechCelerator @ Carlisle program. The BF TechCelerator @ Carlisle is located at 453 Lincoln Street in Carlisle, PA.
The BF TechCelerator, an entrepreneurial training program developed by Ben Franklin Technology Partners/CNP (http://www.cnp.benfranklin.org) and the Capital Regional Economic Development Corporation (CREDC), typically has space for up to eight entrepreneurs, and provides designated, shared workspace along with business support services. The business mentoring and entrepreneurial training boot camps offered at the location allow potential business owners to gather the information they need in order to make an informed go/no-go decision on launching a company. The three companies that will present are:
- Tripdivvy – A web based platform which provides a unique solution to the problems associated with cost sharing in the vacation rental market.
- Global Abilities LLC – Developed an objective accessibility checklist based on the most current ADA Accessibility Guidelines that enables a complete assessment of most retail facilities in approximately two hours.
- Local – A print magazine that is measuring the pulse of small towns/cities while telling stories of people and issues that are relevant to most Americans.
