Support for Existing Manufacturers

We provide multiple options for existing manufacturers seeking support for new, innovative processes, product development, or upgrading outdated legacy systems and manufacturing practices.

Investment Opportunities for Manufacturers

Manufacturers seeking investments follow the same process outlined on our Funding page.

Grant Opportunities for Manufacturers

We offer two types of small grants for manufacturers to support innovation and process improvement. Annually, a limited amount of funding is set aside for this purpose. Here are the available options:

Funding: Up to $10,000

Purpose: To develop innovative products or services that position the company for growth, or to implement processes that improve operational efficiency or enhance marketing and sales systems.

Matching Requirement: Companies must provide a 1:1 cash match for the amount awarded.

Funding: Up to $25,000

Purpose: To collaborate with universities, researchers, consultants, or testing laboratories for proprietary product development or cost-saving process improvements.

Matching Requirement: A 1:1 cash match from the manufacturer is required, and the total combined investment will be paid directly to the chosen partner organization. A three-way contract must be executed between the manufacturer, the partner, and Ben Franklin.

Both grant opportunities follow the steps outlined on our Funding page. After presenting to the Ben Franklin team and receiving approval, you will finalize your request by completing a proposal document with your Ben Franklin representative and executing the necessary contract.

If you’re a manufacturer looking to drive innovation, improve efficiencies, or collaborate with industry experts, we’re here to help. Explore your funding options and start your journey with us today!
