THE TECHCELERATOR@STATE COLLEGE IS HOSTING A VIRTUAL PITCH EVENT!
Seven local entrepreneurial teams are in the process of completing a ten-week, virtual, business startup boot camp. This exciting program has been offered by Ben Franklin’s TechCelerator @State College, in partnership with the Invent Penn State initiative, for nine years.
On Tuesday, November 30, 2021 beginning at 2:00 PM, the teams will pitch their business concepts to a panel of independent judges for a cash prize of up to $10,000! In addition, the zoom audience members will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite presentation and award a cash prize of $1,000 in the People’s Choice Award.
The cohort represents an exciting mix of emerging products and services including: a process that will sinter different metal nanoparticles within milliseconds; an AI solution that allows customers to engage with a virtual technician on device repairs; a custom software product for assisting baseball/softball umpires in making correct calls; a social shopper marketplace platform; a solution for finding locally-owned small businesses that offer rewards programs; a dedicated storage device for crypto rewards, and a greenhouse IOT climate sensor.
