THREE WINNERS ANNOUNCED IN BEN FRANKLIN’S “BIG IDEA” CONTEST!
LANCASTER, PA – Why did dozens of people in Lancaster and Lebanon counties enter Ben Franklin’s BIG IDEA Contest? Because they wanted to WIN! Our risk-free, fun contests have been helping tech-entrepreneurs get from StartUp to UP and running in Pennsylvania for more than 35 years. On August 15, 2018, at an event attended by more than 100 people at the Candy Factory in Lancaster, PA, seven finalists competed for a prize package which included cash, free business mentoring, space in the Candy Factory’s coworking community, and access to seminars offered by Ben Franklin’s eMarketing Learning Center and the Innovation Partnership. Three winners were chosen:
- First Place ($35,000) was awarded to Ryan Harris with Noodigs Realty Services , a company that is developing a for-sale-by-owner software platform that offers comprehensive process guidance along with greatly reduced fees.
- Second Place ($10,000) was awarded to James Cosentino with Craft Biotech, a company that provides easy-to-use analysis tools for the fermentation industry.
- Third Place ($5,000) was awarded to Carolyn Martin with RIVAL 5 Game, a company that developed and is selling a “number strategy game” based on skill and chance that targets both children and adults.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!
