CARLISLE – Ben Franklin’s TechCelerator@Carlisle by CREDC’s 10-Week Business Mentoring Program recently graduated four budding entrepreneurs! These individuals presented their business concepts to a panel of local professionals which included: Melissa McLaughlin, Director of Business Finance for the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and CREDC; Dean Kline, Managing Director of Penn Venture Partners, and Pam Martin, Former Regional Director of BFTP-CNP.
The Ben Franklin TechCelerator program, a partnership between Ben Franklin Technology Partners/CNP www.cnp.benfranklin.org and the economic development arm of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber, provides designated, shared workspace and focused business support services in an incubator setting to eligible start-ups.
The winning presentation was made by Franklin County-based MathEdge Fantasy Sports.
The company’s innovative, new product Draft Hog, is a web-based software platform that uses a proprietary algorithm, developed by math professors, to help both novice and experienced customers win their draft.
Three additional entrepreneurs, all of whom made impressive final presentations to the judges were:
- Youth Athletic Systems whose product LockerRoom is a SaaS assisting volunteer coaches with the organization and communication of team information.
- GATT Solutions brings accountability of weapons through a proprietary solution.
- Elastic Games product Novice is a video gaming solution designed to teach an individual how a gaming controller corresponds with the game itself.
