On Tuesday, March 15, 2016, Ben Franklin made investments in two emerging startups located in the Center’s footprint: Sensor Networks, Inc. and Nolinio, LLC.   Located in State College, Sensor Networks, is developing permanently installed monitoring systems to remotely measure and report wall thickness data and corrosion rates. Metal degradation, including corrosion, erosion, and cracking is a major problem for many industries including on-land and offshore oil production, mid-stream transmission and distribution systems, and downstream refining and chemical plants. Nolinio, located in Lancaster, is offering customers an innovative solution for enhancing sales and marketing processes. Their product, Wingman is a Software as a Service (SaaS) which delivers real-time analytics for identifying the effectiveness of a businesses’ collateral materials. Using Wingman allows a sales representative to quickly and easily deliver the critical content appropriate for each stage of the sales experience by gaining knowledge of which marketing materials work and are actually being used.
