Five PA Companies To Receive Funding from Ben Franklin Technology Partners!

At the September 2021 Board of Director’s meeting, five additional companies were approved to receive an investment from Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Central & Northern PA.  Emerging entrepreneurs and small business owners who are developing a new, product, process, or software application – and need startup funding, need to know about the Ben Franklin program.  Tech-startups and small manufacturers have been getting their “start” with Ben Franklin Technology Partners for nearly 40 years.  NO fees, points, or collateral required! Below are brief descriptions of the innovations developed by the companies most recently funded:

 Elements Aligned, located in Erie County, provides the commercial architectural and construction industry with a system for securely fastening easy-to  adjust, modular wall panels directly to conventional steel stud framing.

Envision BioMedical, located in York County, is developing technologies to address the problems related to discomfort, safety, and sustainability for users of contact lenses.

 Fire Solutions Group/Home Vision AR, located in York County, developed an augmented reality platform that displays an icon for various value-added home features – such as fire protection systems, that when clicked on provides details about the feature.

Impulse Technology, located in Centre County, has developed a patented, self-aligning prosthetic ankle that enhances mobility and comfort.

 Wilds Sonshine Factory, located in McKean County, is developing unique products manufactured from locally grown sunflower plants.  The WSF houses an interpretive agricultural education center and an interactive corridor where visitors learn about local natural resource industries such as timber, water, etc.
