STATE COLLEGE, PA – Seventeen companies located in central and northern PA recently received an investment from Ben Franklin Technology Partners that will allow them to further develop and commercialize new products, processes, or software applications. The Ben Franklin program, which has been investing in tech startups and small manufacturers for nearly 40 years, recently received additional funding support from the PA Department of Community and Economic Development to invest in its portfolio clients that have been impacted by COVID-19.   To learn more about Ben Franklin, visit

Arbitrator Intelligence, located in Port Matilda, PA, developed a confidential, online platform to collect valuable, proprietary information on arbitrators that will increase the efficacy of arbitrator selection.

AssureTech, located in Huntingdon, PA, is a software and technology company that provides people affected by food allergies with resources for finding medical attention during a life threatening reaction, translating an allergy situation for a person in crisis, and providing FDA food allergy updates in a timely fashion.

Boostpoint, located in Lancaster, PA, provides professional home service businesses, such as roofing contractors, with an efficient way to manage their own social media advertising.

ERApeutics, located in Lancaster, is a physician-led cognitive health company that is commercializing a high-nutrient, low-calorie beverage made from walnuts. Their product is available in a ready-to-drink beverage that also contains a daily serving of Omega 3.

Integrated Platform Services, located in Lancaster, PA, offers Constance, a tech-enabled service that uses daily human phone/video calls and passive monitoring to help seniors live independently.

The largest early-stage investor in our region, Ben Franklin Technology Partners/CNP is an initiative of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development and funded by the Ben Franklin Technology Development Authority.
